
2017 Lucy Jean Mofield Memorial Scholarship Recipient
Sierra Clark
Sierra is an outstanding, hardworking student with astounding leadership skills. She graduated as Salutatorian with a near perfect GPA from Midland High School in Pleasant Plains, Arkansas in May, 2017.
She loves animals, and worked on her family farm for over six years. Sierra holds multiple championship titles at the district fair for her horse showmanship, and she was the state qualifier in livestock judging. She has won many awards in Agriculture, English, Composition, and Reading. Sierra also served as President of FFA, Key Club, and Team Captain of Quiz Bowl. In addition, she was the Arkansas state finalist for "Letters About Literature". In 2016, she traveled to Peru with MSA (Midland Student Adventures Travel Group).
Sierra plans to pursue a career in Animal Science at Arkansas State University.
